- A building left unattended still degrades just like any other building. There are no exceptions when it comes to degradation!
- Buildings left unrenovated turns into a pile of "vegetation"!
- As pointed out by Dona Kiza who left this post a comment, yes buildings which has missing influence still degrades as well!
So for those of you itching to find it out for yourself, take my expensive experiment report and don't bother doing it yourself! When your building's degradation level reaches 100%, it is magically transformed into "vegetation" and you need 50 resources of each, Wood, Iron, Stone and Clay, plus an additional 24 hours of removal time! Now you do know that is expensive, don't you?
EDIT: I found out that it doesn't take 24 hours to clear the vegetation as of now September 27th 2013. It only takes 6 hours to clear the vegetation.
Hello!
ReplyDeleteDo you know if the same thing happens when a building is "out of service" due to missing influence? ..by missing influence I mean that it lacks one of the requirements for the building to function at the present level. My specific case is a house level2 lacking the markets influence.
I just found this blog and I must thank you in advance for sharing your experience a tips with us.. shame on those who take advantage .. I'm guessing you know what i mean!
Yes it still degrades as well. The only buildings and roads that do not degrade at all would be the ones that was built already before the in-game tutorial.
DeleteYour very welcome Dona Kiza, I am very glad that you found it useful!
Why do houses degrade even if they have the market on a side? Nice guide btw.
ReplyDeleteIt's just GoldenTowns's game mechanics O_O. . .
DeleteAll buildings degrade except the ones that were already built before you started building anything.
Even roads degrade as well (at a rate of 3% per day as opposed to buildings 5% per day), so don't forget to check those new roads that you've built once in a while!
Thank you~
